I have a MAJOR meeting tomorrow morning with one of our MAJOR vendors to negotiate terms for fourth quarter fulfillment...and what am I doing? Analyzing sales history data like I should be? Fuck no...I find myself sitting here, drinking a martini and commenting to another blogger that I would "blow Hugh Hefner for $100". What???

I may have achieved the perfect mix of OCD and AADD. I fear that I have combined them into an art form and have become somewhat of a poster child. I am increasingly in fear that my life story could only be written by Samuel Beckett or Eugene Ionesco.

Am I waiting for Godot...or just the perfect hand-made jean? Fuck if I know. All's I know is that I'm waiting for something. Maybe I'm waiting for my dad to come back from the grave and say "Hello"...with feeling this time. The last time I remember my dad holding me was when I was 5 and when I cut the cord on the record player in my dad's bedroom and sparks flew all over the house.

I ran into the living room after the jolt of electricity. I jumped into my dad's lap. He smiled and gave me a puff off of the sweet cigar he was smoking.

It took me 43 years to interpret that smile. Only now am I savvy enough to see a "worried smile" on another man's face.

As it turns out, my dad was so fucking wise and so fucking cool.

I have gone beyond blogging. I fear that I have taken the concept of randomness to a frightening level. I fear that I have crossed some line and that my id is showing like a camel toe on some plain but good natured fat chick on the beach in Panama City, Florida. I fear that I have passed into The Twilight Zone of blogging.

I have come to the conclusion that there are no 12 step programs for my specific addictions. I fear my needs would only be met by a 72, 84, 96...nay... 108 step program designed exclusively for me. Either that, or an all expense paid vacation to Acapulco, Mexico with Mario Lopez.

Here in my neighborhood, we celebrate Ghetto Easter...sometimes referred to as "Gheaster". Rob won the Easter Egg Hunt last year, but was disqualified when upon closer investigation...some of his eggs turned out to be crushed 40oz cans of malt liquor and one disembodied big toe. He cheats.
