...the love you get back from adopting rescue dogs can not be fully explained in words. Gracie and Rex came from neglected backgrounds. Gracie had been abused and was nervous and whimpering and scared by the slightest movement when we got her as a 9 month pup. Rex was religated to a dirty red clay Georgia backyard when he proved to be to much to handle. We took them in, loved them, and have treated them like a prince and princess. They give back that love in spades.
...but she aint havin none of it. She has to push the little horndog off all the time. Poor Rex. Gracie's "fixed"..and furthermore..she's a lesbian. Rex just can't win. Damn.
On behalf of Lorna, I want to thank everyone that commented on yesterday's post (at this time deleted) concerning her. A bit embarrassed by all the fuss over her, she asked that the reference to her blog be removed. She has chosen a more refined path, unhampered by vulgar hype and public relation nonsense. She's still at the new condo, unpacking and writing. She sends her love and wants you all to know that she will be checking in from time to time. I have included a bookmark to her blog on mine. Peace, T
